I have a new craft up over at B:Kids. I'm so happy with the way this turned out, so take a look, won't you? Even though the craft projects I design are sometimes appropriate for kids, that doesn't mean that they aren't just as fun for adults. This one has a really low degree of difficulty, but I think the final product is so cute. Every time I walk by this on my table I feel happy, hence the name, the Happy Apple Mat.
One project note: burlap is not highly washable, so spot clean it only; if you want a machine washable final product, use a loose weave linen for a similar look. When using textile paints on items that will be machine washed, make sure to heat-set the paint by ironing over it lightly.
